Dr. Quynh Sebastian is a leader in her field with a 15-year track record in private medical practice. In addition to general and surgical dermatology, she specializes in non-surgical rejuvenation methods, including an evolving range of laser and injectable options.
With an academic background in molecular cell biology and neurobiology, she is an established author on dermatologic conditions and has served on clinical trials for new topical formulations to treat aging skin. Dr. Sebastian’s ground-breaking patent work on the utilization of stem cells has been the foundation for many leading skincare products new to the marketplace.
Dr. Sebastian is known among patients for her strong focus on individual care and among colleagues for her depth of knowledge grounded in science.
She has been featured on a Botox® master panel and also shares her expertise as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Dermatology at the top-ranked David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She was a Regents Scholar and Alumni Scholar at UC Berkeley, graduating magna cum laude. She completed her medical degree and Dermatology residency at UC Irvine, where she trained at the renowned Beckman Laser Institute.
Dr. Jeffrey Sebastian is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a nationally-known expert in bariatric surgery and body contouring after significant weight loss.
He has conducted extensive clinical research in the field of bariatric surgery and is currently pursuing research related to stem cells and tissue engineering. He has co-authored numerous articles for peer-reviewed medical journals, and has given medical faculty presentations across the United States based on his expertise in body contouring and rejuvenation.
Dr. Sebastian is co-author of the book Body Contouring Surgery After Weight Loss, recognized by the medical community as a valuable resource for patients who have achieved massive weight loss, whether through weight loss surgery or diet and exercise.
Dr. Sebastian graduated from UCLA with a degree in Biological Sciences and earned his medical degree from the UC Davis School of Medicine. His academic career included fellowships in cancer stem cell research as well as health and nutrition. In addition to his medical practice and clinical research, Dr. Sebastian serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

I’m one of those high-risk, skin cancer types and she makes sure I stay up-to-date on my check-ups, gives exceptional care and advice and has the sweetest disposition and bed-side manner of any doctor I’ve ever seen. Great sense of humor too. She doesn’t mind at all that the only way I can get through those “freezing” sessions is my humming weird little songs. If you live in the area, I highly recommend her for any and all of your dermological care and needs.

Dr. Sebastian is the best doctor I have ever known, in any medical field. She is the only dermatologist I would consider seeing — whether for a skin cancer biopsy or the magic she can work on lines and wrinkles. She’s a super-smart, consummate professional with a great soul (and knows how to laugh!). Add to that an always amazing staff that cares about every detail….No wonder I’ve been seeing this doctor for more than 10 years.
